so yeah... I was making trades on CB Wallet and happened upon a strange glitch. I was trading MATIC for WBNB and was getting back like 40x. So $50 in MATIC traded for $2000 in WBNB. Holy shit.... no. I tried trading it for something else and got hit with a 94% loss in the trade. Basically, I small price to pay for getting overly excited trying to exploit what I thought was a glitch. All I think I lost was tx fees and slippage.

So many inaccurate/false things on this post that is very difficult to pick a point. 1 - Isn't their fault that people FOMOed like crazy when it was only a DEX with a colourful design. I'm pretty heavy into LPs this year, are you referring to impermanent loss? For example, on 02/13 I put about 200 LINK (worth about $6200 on 02/13) into a liquidity pool by trading half for WBNB, and putting it into Animal Farm on BSC for a LINK/WBNB pool, i've been getting at least 0.3% of \~6200 , $20-$40 a day, paid out in DOGS token, which I pool with WBNB to get 1% a day to generate PIGS token. The LINK/WBNB pair is currently worth $5700-$5800 and I've generated over $600 in DOGS and PIGS tokens since starting 02/13/21. If I hadn't put it in the staking pool I would have just had the 200 LINK worth the present day value, currently \~$5700

again, this was burned from the Pancakeswap V2 contract, with an address that has no connection to the sum total of the LP. smh I get you're just lumping this into a scamcoin Rug Pull. but it's really not. Basically just from the data here, on bscscan, the exploiter could do this to ANY token on Pancakeswap with Burn capabilities. (although who knows) The problem is what to do with the WBNB after.. probably why they hit a few small ones in one day. And not sure why you're bringing up minting.

At the BSCcan I see that the Cake was Swapped to WBNB (resulting in the same USD valor), but then the WBNB was swapped to VLX and it resulted in fewer tokens. Does anyone know why?

Yes, BNB/WBNB is best. But from what I understand you can pay with pretty much anything on PCS, you'll just wind up paying more in gas for the extra order routing.

Hello community, I have swapped 19575.56 NFTL token for BUSD with multihopping on on pancakeswap. The token swap seems to have split into two pieces due to the multiphop which sometimes happens i agree. But i did not receive the first part of the split on my wallet. Here is my tx id. Normally what should happen is i either receive PEG-ETH for the last step or there should be one more step to convert the PEG-ETH to BUSD but that step is not there so i basically lost 140\~ USD, it is totally gone. Probably the swap rates it routed through. Usdc was probably 99 or 98 cents and CATE/WBNB probably offered a better exchange rate than CATE/Usdc due to liquidity or something along those lines.

When speaking about dexes, the main mechanism allowing people to directly trade between each other is liquidity pools. First liquidity pools for a new projects are always provided by their devs, so in this particular case they put up a 400k$ in BNB and 400k$ in SQUID. The devs claimed that they locked the liquidity(so they cannot pull it out when they want) allowing anyone to trade this WBNB:SQUID PAIR. It turned out that they lied and the liq was not locked, so when it is gone, even 1$ sell can ruin the market because the amount of liquidity is literally 0. Also this project did not allow to seel your SQUID once you bought it, so the devs basically collected free BNB people sent their way and then closed the deal today. They technically made no money by dumping their SQUID, just took some BNB donations.

That’s a good question. CoinMarketCap says it is available on PancakeSwap which is a DEX on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) with one trading pair with WBNB. I checked PS and couldn’t find it though

The wallet that’s not locked had most of the presale liquidity which was all withdrawn. Seems weird to me is all. I would usually buy into a project like this but seems sketchy.
