*(insert Bernie meme)* I am once again asking for dogcoin plays on Base. I asked here a couple of days ago and got some good suggestions. I have opened up positions in BLOKI, doginme, and LINU. The last one (LINU) wasn't actually on Base until just yesterday (it's an Eth coin that launched a bridge). I have been arbitraging it, and I managed to double my position with some smart plays. If you know what you're doing it's a nice opportunity for easy money. It’s also up +13% from when I bought in, which is better than most coins which rose and crashed with Bitcoin in the past few days. It’s interesting that memecoins are less susceptible to BTC movements than “blue-chips” like Eth. 🤔

LINU has a promising future in this bullrun and beyond, it's just a gem and the fact that the community is so dedicated and wholesome makes this an easy HOLD for me.
I just tried out doing a small swap on BASE, had a small amount of eth cause when loading my bag up yesterday it as an default sent it to BASE, most of the money ill sent to the eth main cause i wanted to buy an coin on that. But I had the equilant of 3$ left on BASE so just made a swap the cost was like 3cents, you could never do that on eth main gas. It is intersting that other coins are bridging to BASE, cause the price of swapping is insanly low, ill might have a look into the LINU when it hits BASE.
The problem with memecoins on BASE is the same as the problem with memecoins on other chains. If they aren't rugs, they probably have VC and open at high marketcaps, overbought, and with bad wallet distribution. Low marketcaps that have room for growth, on the other hand, are usually very new (and usually rugs). Coons like Shiba and WIF are pretty rare. I don't think BASE has a dominant dogcoins yet, surprisingly. Doginme maybe? When I was searching around I found an eth project called LINU that is starting a BASE bridge soon. It's a SHIB clone and its maintained a modestly high marketcaps for a few months now, so it's *probably* not a rug. dyor though

I hate even trying to promote this coin because I used to turn myself off to any sort of Shiba knockoff. But $LINU and it’s economics really have me interested. I’ve tried posting it a couple times but I don’t have enough karma for any thread to not delete my post. I feel like this is the first time I’ve been early on a cryptocurrency and it still feels super early to get in. The thread is r/linucoin and there’s only about 500 people in it, but check it out and tell me what you think! Seems to be a solid opportunity to maybe see 1000x profit.

How does dog memecoin differ from all the others (LINU, AI, SHIBA, etc.) that have had large pumps of late?
I don't understand the thinking behind dumping profits or hard-earned USD into high market cap dog coins. Like, don't people realize that when a token is already in the billions of mcap, they don't stand a chance at making a good profit AND cash out before those who were earlier cash out? Instead, just throw your spare crypto at low mcap, community dog coins with high potential like BORK or LINU

Great, concise post. I'll add that most importantly - LINU was raised from the dead by the community, being a project abandoned by its Devs back in 2021. What this means is there are no creator wallets able to sell large volumes and tank the price. It's a community-driven token reclaimed by the people, for the people. The community essentially took over the half-million USD liquidity pool (that's locked for another 73 years). It's up to us now what we do with this one-of-a-kind opportunity. Two things are certain - the community is determined to build this organically (check out the TG) and LINU is well positioned to lead the meme coins in the coming bull cycle. WAGMI

Yeah that’s what I did too I flipped my $bone and $Xfund tired of waiting for the $shib devs to do something. I can tell that $LINU has a bunch of diffrent drivers all working to grow the project. Much more exciting to be a part of an engaged community that’s all working toward a goal than with a bunch of people just asking ‘wen shibaranium 2.0’
