Just starting to get good in my opinion. crazy high opening yesterday, pulled back to reality AH, so perfect time to get in for the people who hadn't already as you may get in at a much better position than others. ANY news gets released on this it immediately pumps, put some more people behind this not shorting and we have a solid win. No I don't think 10 dollars this week or next since the merger is late May but news will continue to push this ticker. Still after all the craziness yesterday ended up gaining %20 on the day. Doubt the daily user count and valuation. Tiktok-CCP ban potential so Triller wouldn't be that great of an alternative long-term. Seems like it can go higher after today. Be careful and make money while you can.
My question is.... All these posts about the shorts in AGBA but when I look at Market Watch the % of float that is shorted is ridiculously low. Like 0.03% shorted. How can shorts make any difference on price at that low of a percentage? I'm 14,000 shares into this and riding the ride until post merger completion to see where it goes from there.

I started about the same. Up 26% - mostly due to RILY and AGBA pump. I was running about 8% up before that. Doing a little bit of options trading too and that's up 15% NOT financial advice, but if you're value investing, what you're up since Feb doesn't really matter that much, does it? Longterm growth won't always also be short-term growth. You're looking for companies with a growth potential, right? I'm more shopping catalysts. Undervalued, insiders buying are great signals to go along with a catalyst- but that's the most important thing so I can be in and out in a few days or few weeks depending on what I'm waiting for. If something will grow, but you don't know when... you could buy now and it pops in January and it's all the same... as long as it does grow. Right? Or am I missing something

What do you is a good price to continue buying AGBA? I've gotten a fair bit when it was quite low and I'm thinking of adding on, been waiting for it to hit $2 but it never did. My brain is telling me it should go up to at least $5, or even $10 if the merger is anything to go by, but been hesitating.

AGBA is low float, high short, and has crazy good news Implied value of a share is nearly $11 after merger with a current price of a little over $2. Hop on this train because it's about to pull a HOLO.
This sub actually has tipped me to some good plays. USUALLY it's after they've started to run, but there have been plenty that still had juice in them. Examples for me are KULR, JAGX, AGBA, TPET... Lots of folks made money here. But there HAVE been early tips too. CISS I found here mentioned and made money on. It got mentioned A LOT later, but I got in soon enough that, overall, I've ended up ahead on that play. But, it IS annoying AF when people mention a ticker for the first time in the afternoon after it ran all morning as an "opportunity." ESPECIALLY when they leave no info. ...there have been a few that have run and will run more *cough cough RILY cough* but, without a good explanation, hyping shit like that is unethical IMHO. Anyway, I'm on several subs, I try to stay up on chats. More wins than losses. But you have to weed through a lot of people shouting "XFOR, DIAMOND HANDS" to find the good ones. AND, speaking of XFOR, this sub is also good for just following movement. I'm in xfor NOW because everyone was talking about it tanking right before a possitive catalyst. I accidentally know so much about that stock that seeing it under a dollar was a big buy sign for me. NFA - I was dropped often as a child

Rough week. Things didn't pan out. I'm in a loss for the week but hey, the game's the game. C'est la vie. All that jazz. I take pride in making a plan for each individual stock I purchase and sticking to it. Sometimes that means I go into the red and cash out a stop loss. Sometimes I get an AGBA stock and things even out. In the end, you can't win it all, else we'd all be millionaires. Practice patience, do your DD, make a plan, and stick to it. And make sure to properly enjoy your weekend after tomorrow!

I've consolidated a lot of my tiny portfolio and don't have much money to play with... but here are my plays right now. RILY - not a penny stock. LONG story and interesting if anyone wants to deep dive it has its own sub. But undervalued and heavily shorted and manipulated due to accusations of fraud. They just filed their 10k and all fraud investigations closed with no wrong doing. I've got 75% invested here holding. I'll take some profits in the 40s or 50s and keep some in to see if it squeezes. Target price is 65-80 AGBA - I know this one is making everyone sad today... I was in and out on the first pump and now back in. I've been buying more to average down as it's been tanking. Obviously the first pump was from all the massive hype, but there's a lot more time leading to the merger and a lot of uncertainty with tiktok, so I see this going back up to 3-4. As soon as it does I'll bounce. GDHD - just a small position. Chinese companies with limited oversight scare me and this company is sketchy... but there seems to be a good hype and catalysts OPTN - tossed a couple of bucks at this right now on recommendation CISS - one share to watch. This one keeps breaking my heart. But I pulled my money at a loss to make money on RILY. I STILL think this one will get up to reasonable valuation, but there are just better plays while I'm waiting. XFOR - ...yeah... 0 shares there. Haven't had any for a while cause a) it's not moving and b) about five million comments here will let me know if there's ever action. Not worth holding money in. Very interesting idea. I like it. However I don't think DWAC to DJT is an accurate analogy. That one went crazy because of Trump's name, the election year hype, retail piling in on WSB...Didn't really have much to do with Truth Social itself. And of course AGBA doesn't have any of that working in its favor. What I would actually compare this to is Threads. That was an astroturfed social media platform that came out last year which no one uses. However when it was announced $META pumped like crazy as Zuckerberg aggressively marketed it as "THE TWITTER KILLER" to everyone. Of course the impetus for that was they were mad at Elon. And now they're mad at TikTok. Maybe they'll aggressively promote Triller in a similar fashion. What do you think?

I think you forgot to read all of the text

getting 2 shares from 10 shares?, I don't think that is how it works at all, please do more research, If they do make a new ticker its 1 for 1, the 20% just means that they will release more float out so that all AGBA float will makeup 20% of the total float for that new ticker
No. AGBA shareholders will receive 20% of the new company’s stock which will be valued near $10 per share based off estimates. This means if you’re holding 10 shares of AGBA when it finalizes, you will receive 2 shares of the new company
