It’s definitely not as good as Twitter or X I guess as it’s called now. It is pretty much full of MAGA zealots and bots. Most of the companies advertising are small and ones you have never heard of. Whereas X has posts about pretty much every single topic you can ever imagine (music, sports, travel, pets, etc) truth social is really only about politics and primarily only about Trump. I cannot see that any real company would advertise on there because of its limited number of users and limited interest groups. If you buy advertising there, you are basically only advertising to a small percentage of Trump’s voters.

I don’t think so. There’s a lot of data pointing to EV’s having a lower cost of total ownership. You can still get tax credits from Uncle Sam. I had+ $7500 added on my tax return when I filed several in feb. Home charging vs gas is about 75% cheaper. Tesla’s have a fairly robust charging network over the legacy models. My insurance has been more affordable through Tesla insurance. Elon has been cutting the prices on a lot of their EV’s. For the record I’m not an Elon Stan. I think he’s a MAGA nut job and is hyper focused on stupid culture war issues when he should be more focused on his company. I just think it’s a good car, good value, and it’s good for the planet ultimately.

Lending shares is an optional activity. If you are long a stock, it's a good way to get a little extra out of your investment, but there shouldn't be anything wrong with explaining what it is to shareholders and suggesting that the stock will be less volatile if they disable this option for their holdings. The only people "speaking" about single issue bills are House Republicans (typically of the MAGA variety). And it's only when it specifically suits their objective of causing chaos and obstruction. They don't seem to have any objections to their own attempts to have garbage added to bills. There's no good reason for riders to not exist. It's literally one of the key means from which cooperation and bipartisanship in Congress is built to get important laws passed. And the MAGA focus on blocking it is a primary reason why the House is unable to pass bills that have any possibility of making it through the Senate.

Yes, CA is a large economy, but we are a blue state.. we pay lots to take care of our population.. I can move almost anywhere else, and the tax I would save could put many kids thru college. If you run a business here, you are paying so much money just to comply with all the labor requirements and other challenges. I know people that call this "communist California." They seems to keep coming up with more ways to inhibit business, and that's why many big corps move to business friendly states such as Tesla moving to Texas. What keeps me in CA, well, I grew up here and I like the weather.. but thinking I should move the Arizona or Texas at some point. This doesn't mean I'm a MAGA red guy, but there's only so much you can take.
