lots of people ate dominos for the last 15 years and never touched $DPZ tons of people play games and never bought $NVDA making money is not that hard. you're not special snowflakes, if you're doing something, there's a good chance millions of others are as well. invest in what you use and believe in.
Tough. YUM went down too. But what about CMG, WING, DPZ?
DPZ the only food chain worth investing in
DPZ has the best calorie to $ bar none and the shit slaps if you are craving a cheat meal. Medium 2-topping pizza for $6.99 in this economy is diabolical. Thin crust with pep + jalapeño please
I think DPZ is going to pop this coming week! My prediction si that it will hit the new target of $580 before EOW.
Owning a franchiser is a sweet business. Look at DPZ and MCD. You can easily figure out their current single store economics and multiply their future store count goals to get an idea of how much cash they’ll be generating if/when they get to their 7,000 stores. Who knows if they’ll execute and actually hit their goals, but the market seems to think they will.
Did anyone else get DPZ calls on Friday?
Who has the bigger F/X headwinds? KO or MCD? Picked up ATM puts on both and both for the same reason. Yes, I know DPZ killed it.
DPZ puts were not the okay ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4271)![img](emote|t5_2th52|4271)
Puts on $DPZ, $ON, $SOFI, $SBAC, $NXPI, $WELL, $ACGL and $MSTR But I'm not sure about $DPZ, $NXPI and $WELL

DPZ pumping ![img](emote|t5_2th52|12787)
Hopefully everyone loaded on DPZ puts
DPZ $550 call for next week. Good or bad play?
so many equities being overlooked that will benefit from more people working. Prime examples are SBUX, PZZA, DPZ. CMG looks a little pricey but could surprise next week.
Domino's Pizza is so constantly cheap and decent if you really think about it. Long $DPZ
No chance could anyone have predicted this. DPZ looked finished at one point, and while it deserves credit for turning things around, to think it'd outperform tech giants would've been insane.
How was DPZ’s ROI calculated? It IPO’d at $14/share and it’s currently at ~$493/share. That’s a ROI of 3,520%, excluding reinvestment of dividends. Dividend yield seems to float roughly between 0.75-1.25%. Can’t be bothered to calculate the ROI of DPZ with dividends reinvested, but I don’t think that’s going to bump up the ROI from IPO price from 3,500% to 7,400%. As for Alphabet, it IPO’d at $85 and is roughly $2.15 split adjusted (20:1 & 2:1). With a current price of $152 for class A shares, that gives us an ROI of 7,070%.
They do when you use debt to buy back shares which is exactly what DPZ has done
I’m seeing GOOG +6,000% and DPZ +3,500% all time on Yahoo
DPZ’s share price was fuelled by debt though
I know it's heart attack inducing for half the people here but these Domino's (DPZ) italian subs for $6.99 may be the tastiest thing I've ever eaten. When I'm done I'll put the cardboard box in the compost pile and pee on it.
calls MCD, DPZ, SBUX, QSR, CMG, TXRH
Nobody outpizzas the HUT. Nah, it's a bitcoin mining stock. I think pizza hut is a subsidiary of YUM brands. DPZ on the other hand has been a killer stock over the years.
Domino’s Pizza makes better pizza than Italians because they part of Europe, and Europe is filled with Europoors who are poor DPZ calls only ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4271)![img](emote|t5_2th52|4271)![img](emote|t5_2th52|4271)![img](emote|t5_2th52|4271)![img](emote|t5_2th52|4276)![img](emote|t5_2th52|4276)![img](emote|t5_2th52|4276)![img](emote|t5_2th52|4276)![img](emote|t5_2th52|4276)
>In the near term, $RDDT is going to the moon. I mean, I think it depends on your definition of "near term" and "moon". Could the stock jump to $50-80 per share the day/week it IPOs? Maybe, but I really don't think this company has that much value. At the IPO price of $34 Per Share, Reddit is valuing itself at $6.4 billion... At $80/share, that would be a market cap of over $15 BILLION. You know what other companies have a market cap in that range? Here's a few: * United Airlines $UAL ($15.08 B) * Domino's Pizza $DPZ ($15.73 B) * Lenovo 0992.HK ($15.40 B) * Formula One Group $FWONK ($15.74 B) * Nissan 7201.T ($16.47 B) Now be honest, do you think that (in terms of profit to shareholders) Reddit is as valuable as United, Domino's, Lenovo, Formula One, or Nissan? Seems like Reddit is an order of magnitude less profitable, maybe $1.5 billion market cap ($8/share) would be fair.

Get you a nice Buffalo Chicken Pan Pizza from Dominos (DPZ) with some ranch dipping sauce on the side
it's about pizza tech. DPZ is also a tech company.
DPZ outperformed GOOG for decades. It isn’t always about the fancy tech.
DELL earnings will be like DPZ, boring and profitable. They could sprinkle some AI there and we could see a juicy bump![img](emote|t5_2th52|4276)
I lost money today playing a call calendar spread on Dominos Pizza and would like to understand what I did wrong. Open: Date: 2/23 Bought DPZ 3/15 435 Call @ 14.75 Sold DPZ 3/1 Call @ 12.75 Spread: 2.4 Close: Sold DPZ 3/15 435 Call @32.13 Bought DPZ 3/15 Call @30.63 Spread: 1.5 My plan and assumptions: I opened the trade on Friday since earnings was going to be announced before market open on Monday. My thinking going into the trade was that the price of the stock post earnings would move between 420-450, and I would close the trade right after earnings on Monday, at open, before IV crush fully hits my position. Results: Dominos announced great results and the price shot up to around $470 and it closed at $458. The stock was already up to $470 in pre-market trading, so I didn’t get much time. When I moved to close, the ask for the spread was at $4.50 while the bid was at $-1.25. I thought I’ll go for a mid-value and got a fill at $1.5. Questions for the sub: What did I get wrong in my trade? Were my assumptions completely off? Did I implement something incorrectly? How can I do calendars better?
DPZ beat on earnings & hiked their dividend. Stock up 6.5% 🎉
$DPZ is actively purchasing shares
jeesus DPZ. Here I am screwing around with AI and cybersecurity, when pizza was the play all along

Need this volume to make DPZ pop! That 1B share repurchase and increase dividends should look nice. Just missing the volume
Everyone laugh at me. My broker canceled my DPZ call order friday at close.
DPZ calls are killing it right now
I think as all know the real market mover is DPZ. Pizza will win everytime. My 440c gonna ensure I'm loaded up with domino's for the rest of the year.
Someone’s got $DPZ calls?
Of course $DPZ is ripping up already cause I have Puts. Shits going to open at $500
Anybody playing DPZ tomorrow morning? I'm not, but I think it's probably going down. For no reason other than it's the biggest pizza brand and there's nowhere for it to go for real.

Calls on DPZ. Those ads are relentless and EVERYWHERE right now.
So does : DPZ, McD, RBI, KO And ?
not every company is the same- they should be taken against comparable companies IE: WMT vs TGT, ORLY vs AZO, ZS vs NET low/medium/high margin Debt is also different for every company. If you're a cash light business such as ZS, you shouldn't be overleveraged. But if you're a leasing/franchising company such as Domino's (DPZ), debt makes sense as you need to borrow to expand. TL;DR It all depends
Hmm that's good data collection $DPZ calls
DPZ. As uncertainties in the US grow a new plague will break out. People will not leave their homes and the amazing deals for 2 medium pizzas with 2 tippings for 5.99 will become a daily occurance for many. With such delicious toppings as pepperoni, cheese, smaller pepperoni, different colored cheese and slightly larger pepporoni the us household will not be able to resist. Dominoes will go to the moon. Mark my words weather boy
Can't believe I got a tsler calls at the absolute bottom, now in the money, set a trailing stop and will kick back and relax. And figure out what DPZ food I will order tonight 🤙
Taleb is more financial gimmickry with its over-use of philosophical and thought provoking elements than practicality. Reality judges the merit of an idea based on its practicality and profitability not how interesting or thought provoking it is. The Lindy effect is an example of that. It is a great read, somewhat thought provoking also, however with some critical thinking one sees the flaw as OP did here, showing not all Lindies made it and if you had all of them equal weighted, you would have gotten under-performance. It's not just that though. Consider the Top 10 Lindy winners shown in the post above. It's presented in a format that is implying that being a Lindy is instrumental to such winning performance. In reality, that is hardly so. Example of non-Lindies having great performance in the same period (with dividend reinvestment): FAST 3,667.12% DPZ 6,246.72% RH 11,656.95% These are just off the top of my head, and I intentionally stated non-techs. Taleb is not a successful trader. He is a successful writer though.
4,500 shares in OCGN and 90 $20 calls for first spike. DPZ and BABA calls for second little bump. 0DTE SPY options for last little bump. Its 1wk SPY puts on Nov 1 that took everything lol
Domino's Pizza, $DPZ
I just sold ULTA today. It was already expensive even at $380 when I bought it but I bought a small allocation hoping for more downside as my valuation was pointing me towards the mid $300’s. The position ran away and I sold today at $470. I might come to regret that but I just couldn’t justify the valuation relative to the risk. I did this exact same thing with DPZ in July when they announced their partnership with UberEats in July. I haven’t regretted this one since the shares are way too expensive anyway. One I regret selling in the past is DG. I attempted to do a tax loss harvest at $105 and the shares rallied. I only sold a small portion of the position because I felt over-allocated. However, it still made me feel like a fool. Lesson learned, stop playing with the shares. I bought them, let them ride.
This is what I would do in the current market as a new investor. When you find an idea /trend/brand you like put some money behind it. Don't focus too much on fundamentals. If the stock makes a 10% move or higher, sell 90% and go on to the next idea. The 10% trail should be left alone. If its play money and you don't need it soon, you can determine what you do with any unrealized losses. If you still like the company you buy more. If something changed and you don't you sell. Some stories on how I found my biggest winners. When my son was born I saw the nurses using a 2 way communication system. I asked about it and they told me how much more efficient the hospital was running. I asked to take a picture of the back of the radio. That was VRTS ANF is going to show my age but bought when It first was gaining popularity. Bought puts when the trend was dead. Bought some two years back when I noticed it was popular again. DPZ when they changed their recipe and It was much better (trading at 25 at the time) Carrabou coffee when I noticed them in my local supermarket, tried some and loved the product. I think I just saved you reading at least 50 books.
> Dominos will start to fall That’s enough DD for me. Puts on $DPZ it is.
I was also thinking that this approach is probably the most optimal. At the moment, I have positions in META, AMZN, and LMT. I'm trying to save up to buy COST, DPZ, and RBI.
The market efficiently reverted DPZ back to its mean. Sounds like it's working.
I ordered 3 pizzas last week for my sales team. 2 large specialties and 1 medium 1 topping. With coupon 20% off it was still around $51 + tax, delivery fee and tip. I would say Dominos is better than most out there when it comes to “fast food pizza”, but I was taken back by the price. I would buy DPZ.
I was gonna buy DPZ but they removed their $2.99 each mix and match coupons, used to get hella cinnastix, parmesan bites, breadstix, and brownies. Perhaps they thought it would help them justify their market price and raise margins.
Yea it surged around 2021 along with pton, tdoc and many other paradigm changing businesses that took advantage of people being stuck at home. Now things are coming back to reality and DPZ is sitting closer to its 2019 price
I assume you are referring to the price movement and I agree. The market expected DPZ to benefit more than it actually did.
Seems like DPZ was another business that got a massive Covid bump and no is settling back down. Their earnings look pretty sharp, but agree the valuation seems high still
We’re well into a bear market already. The S&P 500 weights are very lopsided and don’t accurately reflect what’s going on. There’s already been a crash in many companies. Just a few examples, some of which are down over 50% off their highs: EL, BTI, TGT, ALGN, EW, ABT, DPZ. These aren’t run-of-the-mill declines. For some of these, they’re the worst drawdowns in history.
Ordered DPZ, since its another ugly weekend in NYC ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4258)
Yes, so here’s an example that I started watching yesterday. Domino’s pizza $DPZ had an earnings miss yesterday afternoon. I’m looking at put $340 strike price for January of 2026 and $340 for today. Dominos down like 1% today. Former has been up like 3 or 4% today at times which is like $200/100 shares. Latter has slumped if you bought yesterday and highly likely expire worthless. Theta beats delta in latter. Delta beats theta in the former. That was my entire question. You’d better off buying the 2 years to expiration and selling next day instead of 1dte at same strikes. Of course, leverage makes only the % return matter. Idk tho, just one example
Sold my DPZ puts way too early tho Reloaded and was rewarded with ![img](emote|t5_2th52|18632)
DPZ > DAL ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4271)
Stock is still far from 52 week lows, i think it is premature to think this is a buy opportunity. KO and PEP have been hammered way more than DPZ, and they’ve been performing better.
actually a buy opportunity... there will be way more sugar/fat users than ozempic users ultimately. DPZ, QSR, PEP, KO
I’m thinking $DPZ fr but I also made a steak last night I basically haven’t ate yet. Lacking appetite. But I tried a slice soon after making it and it turned out so good. So I can’t waste that. So likely for dinner, a toasted sourdough thin sliced steak, mixed sautéed pepper and melted cheese sandwich. And mustard. Maybe more sriracha. Love mustard.
I’m not a bear but i’ll try Dominoes PUTS for tomorrow’s earnings. PEP had great earnings and markets did not care whilst DPZ always misses revenue estimates.
Decidedly playing post earnings movement these next couple months Mostly snagging strangles on open after they report but weighing heavier on the upside DPZ opens down 3%? Wait until it goes down 5% then calls after IV crush to ride the V JPM bad outlook? Let everyone get over it after open then buy the dip for V The V calls to me Inverse me if you dare
All the fun starts with the minutes on Wednesday Then cool CPI Thursday going to buy the dip in DPZ Then buy the dip on bank earnings for 0dte gains Remember to inverse me to make money
I love how all these moron analysts are assuming everyone is going to be thin within 6 months because some weight loss pill did well in a trial. Better sell PEP and DPZ because no one is going to eat junk food anymore. lmao.
DPZ gapped up and I made an 80% return.
Not gonna lie getting a DPZ option sounds like the biggest waste of time and money ever
I had a call on DPZ that went in the money before the downturn. That was fantastic.
I too agree exit strategy on 80% of most my stocks is death because I’m setting up my family inheritance. I sold some positions to go to Alaska and Hawaii this last year. Just picked a little from some companies but I did terminate my position in CCI, DPZ, and five others mainly because the growth rate slowed or headwinds due to higher interest rates. I also know I can but back into these positions.
Cramer just said he ordered DPZ without cheese for his vegan daughter. lmao. Kharmic punishment for all his vile misdeeds.
